Skincare Boxes
Skincare boxes for routine sets use a cut tray laid out around your actual cleanser, serum and moisturizer, since a set without separate spaces arrives knocked together. Individual jars, tubes and pump bottles fit comfortably too. Recycled and recyclable stock is available when a retailer requires it, rigid builds suit gift sets, and several products can share one production order.

Skincare Boxes for Jars, Bottles and Routine Sets
Skincare boxes cover the containers a skincare line actually ships in: heavy glass jars of cream, airless pumps, squeeze tubes of cleanser, and the sets that bring several of them together. Buyers are brands that sell a routine as much as a product, from clean-beauty startups to dermatologist-founded lines, along with subscription services and retailers assembling their own regimens. Jar creams are the awkward member of the family. Wide, heavy and low, they need a squarer carton than anything else in the range and a base that won't bow under the glass. Tubes sit at the other extreme, light and flat. A single brand often needs both, plus a set box, all sharing one look.
Skincare Box and Tray Specs by Product Count
Single cartons and set boxes are specified differently. Most run on solid bleached board; rigid grayboard is offered for gift sets.
| Spec | Single product | Routine set |
|---|---|---|
| Board | SBS, 18–24pt | SBS, or grayboard 2–3mm |
| Insert | Optional | Cut tray, one cavity per item |
| Base | Tuck, or auto-lock for jars | Tray inside a carton or lid-and-base |
| Stock | Virgin or recycled | Virgin or recycled |
| Tolerance | About ±0.5–1mm | About ±0.5–1mm |
| Lead time | 8–12 business days | 8–12 folding, 20 rigid |
Jars are measured at the lid, which is usually wider than the base. Airless pumps are measured with the collar on, since it often sits proud of the bottle.
Why a Fitted Tray Beats Boxing Each Product Alone
A routine sold as separately boxed products looks like a pile of purchases; the same products in one box with die-cut insert trays look like a regimen. The tray fixes each item in a set position, so the order of use reads left to right and every label faces up when the lid comes off. It also replaces three or four outer cartons with one, which cuts packing time and the amount of board a customer throws away. There are cases where singles win: if most customers buy one product and only a few buy the set, box the bestseller alone and make the set a smaller run. Most brands end up with both, sharing artwork between them.
Print, Finish and Recycled Stock for Skincare Packaging
Skincare packaging tends to split into two looks. Clinical lines use white board, one or two inks and plenty of empty space, which is also the cheapest to print. Botanical and spa-style lines use soft color, illustration and often soft-touch lamination with a foil logo. Both work on recycled board, which prints slightly less bright than virgin stock, so we proof on the board you'll actually use. If a recyclability claim matters to your retail buyer, keep laminates and heavy foil coverage to a minimum, since film and foil can make recycling harder; spot UV gives sheen with far less material. Rigid gift sets can carry foil and embossing on the printed wrap.
Skincare Boxes for Regimen Kits, Subscriptions and Retail
Starter kits in travel sizes introduce a routine at a low price and usually use a folding carton with a card tray. Full-size regimens of three or four products move to a rigid box when they're sold as a gift. Subscription boxes rotate products from month to month and need a tray layout generic enough to take different shapes. Retailers and spas assembling curated gift sets from several brands use the same tray approach with their own outer artwork. Single jar creams and pump moisturizers are still the bulk of most orders, boxed individually for shelves and online sales, and they set the design the kits borrow from.
Skincare Box Lead Times for Folding and Rigid Sets
Lead time follows the build you choose. Folding cartons and card trays take 8–12 business days after you approve the proof. A rigid gift set needs 20 business days. Rush is possible on either at an extra cost, given to you before you order. Send the products, or their dimensions with lids and pumps fitted; we lay out the tray, confirm sizes in writing and proof it with your artwork. Design support costs nothing and has no round limit. The minimum is 100 boxes, and orders above 10,000 come with free samples. Pricing includes dies, plates and setup, and shipping is in the price. Every box is checked three times, and if a bulk run strays from the approved proof, we redo it free.

What brands say about this box
They live there rather than here, where we can't edit them, delete them, or pick which ones you get to see. That is exactly what makes them worth reading.
Read all reviews on Trustpilot(opens in a new tab)Answers before you have to ask.
Can a single box hold a full routine?
Yes, with a tray. Routine sets need each item held in its own cavity or they arrive knocked together. We lay the tray out around your actual products — a cleanser, serum and moisturizer each get their own cut space.
Can I run several skincare products as a set?
Yes, and running them together is usually cheaper than separate orders since setup is shared. Whether they share one carton with a tray, or ship as individual boxes in a set, depends on how you sell them.
Can skincare boxes be made sustainably?
Yes. Recycled and recyclable stock is available across the range, and it increasingly decides whether certain retailers will stock you at all. We'll spec to whichever standard you need to meet.
How long do skincare boxes take?
Around 8–12 business days from proof approval for folding cartons and trays. Rigid sets take 20 business days. Rush is available either way at a cost we'll state before you order.
What's the minimum on skincare boxes?
100 boxes, whether that's a single product or a routine set. Design help is unlimited and free, which matters when you're laying out a tray for multiple products and refining it before print.
