Printed Shipping Boxes
Printed shipping boxes are worth planning around one fact: by the time a parcel arrives, couriers have already handled the exterior panels. We print outside, inside or both, on white or brown liners, adding anti-scuff film whenever artwork is dark enough to show wear. Several designs can run together as one order, so seasonal or limited artwork doesn't need its own minimum.
Ours are on Trustpilot, where we can't edit them or choose which ones you see.

Printed Shipping Boxes Planned Panel by Panel
A shipping box has more printable surface than most brands use: four sides, a top, a base, and the whole interior once the lid opens. Printed shipping boxes are for sellers who want to plan all of it rather than drop a logo on the lid and stop. That planning is where most of the work sits, so design help is free and unlimited. We lay your artwork onto the dieline, flag anything that lands on a fold, a glue flap or a tape line, and keep revising until the proof is right. Board, liner and size are chosen to suit the product. The decoration is what sets this page apart from the rest of the range.
Print Areas, Liners and Artwork Setup for Printed Shippers
Artwork is set up on a dieline we build from your product dimensions, with internal and external measurements confirmed in writing before design starts.
| Element | Options |
|---|---|
| Base liner | Coated white or brown kraft |
| Print areas | Outside panels, inside panels, or both |
| Print method | Flexo in one or two colors at volume; digital for short runs or changing artwork |
| Color | Full CMYK or spot colors on coated white; one or two colors on kraft |
| Flute | B-flute (about 3.2mm) for the flattest print face, C-flute or BC double-wall |
A coated face suits full-color work, and the materials page explains why white printable board holds detail that brown stock softens.
Why Print the Box Instead of Labeling a Plain One
A plain box with a sticker is cheaper per unit, and for low volumes or constantly changing products it is often the right call. Printing the box makes sense once three things are true: your design is settled, you ship enough to justify a print run, and the box reaches the end customer rather than a stockroom. At that point a printed box removes the labeling step at the pack bench and gives identical placement every time, which a hand-applied label never does. Most printed shippers are made as a mailer build with a full-panel lid, giving you one large uninterrupted surface on top and another underneath it. If your design or volume isn't there yet, a white box and a good label will carry you until it is.
Inside, Outside and Edge-to-Edge: Printed Shipping Box Options
What's available on this product: full-bleed print running across every outside panel, interior print on the inner liner, spot color for logos and brand marks, and lamination in gloss, matte or soft-touch on a coated white base. Placement matters as much as the artwork. A logo that crosses a fold line looks broken once the box is assembled, and anything printed along the bottom seam disappears under tape if your team seals boxes that way. We mark both on the dieline so you can design around them. On kraft, lamination isn't offered, and spot colors work better than trying to reproduce a full-color image. On a box that travels unprotected, we'd usually spend finish budget on the interior rather than the outside.
Printed Shipping Boxes for Apparel Drops and Repeat Buyers
Apparel brands are the heaviest users. A limited drop or a new collection gets its own printed box, and clothing and accessories labels often run a core design all year with seasonal artwork alongside it. Direct-to-consumer brands with a loyal customer base print a short note or a reorder prompt inside the lid. Subscription services print the box once and change the contents monthly. Influencer and press kits get printed boxes because they will be photographed and posted. Where printing doesn't pay is trade shipping and returns handling, where the box goes straight to a stockroom and nobody looks at the outside.
Ordering Printed Shipping Boxes Without Artwork Surprises
The order starts at 100 boxes and runs 8–12 business days once you approve the proof. If a launch date can't move, rush is available at extra cost, quoted before you place the order. Shipping is included. Every box passes a three-stage check, and if the printed run doesn't match the proof you signed off, we reprint it at our cost. Above 10,000 boxes, samples are free, which lets you check print placement on a real assembled box before the full quantity is made. Dies, plates and setup are in the quote from the start, so the price you approve doesn't change once the artwork is final.

No print-ready file?
Send a logo and a rough idea. Our studio builds the production file free with any order over 500 units — you keep the source file either way.
Ask the StudioBackground art must run all the way to the outer bleed edge. Anything inside the white dashed line survives fold tolerance.
What brands say about this box
They live there rather than here, where we can't edit them, delete them, or pick which ones you get to see. That is exactly what makes them worth reading.
Read all reviews on Trustpilot(opens in a new tab)Answers before you have to ask.
Will printing survive a courier without scuffing?
Reasonably well, though it depends on coverage and finish. Large solid dark areas show handling marks most, while lighter artwork and kraft hide them. If the box will be heavily handled, an anti-scuff film keeps the print looking clean on arrival.
Can I print on the inside of the box too?
Yes, and it's often the better spend. The customer sees the interior at the moment of opening, when the exterior has already been creased by a courier. Interior print costs less than decorating an outside that arrives handled.
How many colors can I print on a shipping box?
As many as you need, though the sensible answer depends on the stock. Full CMYK works well on a coated white liner. On kraft, one or two colors usually looks better and costs less than fighting the substrate with full-color coverage.
How long does a printed run take?
About 8–12 business days from proof approval, whether you're printing one color or full CMYK. Rush production is available at a premium we quote before you order, and shipping is included.
Can I order several printed designs at once?
Yes. Running several designs together usually costs less than separate orders, since setup is shared. It's common for brands with multiple product lines or seasonal artwork. Tell us the designs and quantities and we'll quote them as one job.
