Custom Five Panel Hangers
Custom five panel hangers fold five panels to hold product facing forward while a hanging tab takes the weight, so artwork faces shoppers on a peg instead of sitting edge-on. Most add a window, letting the product show while printed panels carry the branding. They use relatively little board for the display area they create. One structure can carry different panels across many products.

Hanging Packs That Face the Aisle
Peg aisles are vertical shelving, and a pack hung there is seen face-on or not at all. A five panel hanger is built for that spot: a folded pack with a die-cut tab at the top that hangs from a retail hook, holding the printed front toward the shopper at eye level.
Buyers are brands selling small, light products through supermarkets, toy shops, pharmacies, phone shops and fashion accessory racks. These are usually items too small to earn their own shelf facing but bought often enough to need a permanent position. The format also suits brands supplying retailers that only range hanging packs in a category, where a carton with no tab simply can't be stocked.

The board is stiff SBS panel stock, and stiffness matters more here than on a shelf carton. The whole weight hangs from the tab, so the caliper has to stop the top panel tearing or curling forward on the hook. Light items such as socks or cables sit fine at the lower end; heavier toys and accessories move up. Tell us the peg type your retailer uses and we'll size the hole to it.
A Hanging Tab Instead of Shelf Space
Shelf space is the expensive part of retail, and a hanging pack sidesteps it. Hooks fill wall and end-cap space that shelves can't use, and retailers will range a hanging product they'd turn down if it needed a shelf facing.
That's the main reason small toys sold off a hook come in hanger packs: one hook holds a column of stock in the space a single boxed toy would take. The tab also keeps the pack upright and facing forward, where a box on a crowded shelf gets turned sideways by the third shopper who picks it up. The cost of the format is the tab itself, which adds height, and genuinely heavy products are better boxed for a shelf.
Artwork Planned Around a Window and a Tab
The front of a five panel hanger has two die-cut interruptions, the hang tab and usually a window, and the artwork has to work around both. Keep the brand name on the panel below the hole, never across it. Frame the window with the product name and one key selling point, so the eye moves from product to name in a single glance.
Full color suits most peg ranges, with gloss lamination to keep the pack clean after repeated handling. Spot UV on a logo or character helps at a distance. The back panel carries barcodes and product details, which staff scan with the pack still hanging, so keep them flat and clear of folds.
Peg Retail for Toys, Socks and Phone Accessories
Hangers are the format for anything sold off a hook. Toy brands use them for small figures, die-cast cars and craft kits. Phone accessory brands hang cases, cables and screen protectors.
Fashion brands use them for socks and accessories on a rail, along with ties, hair accessories and sunglasses. Hair-extension and beauty-tool brands hang clip-in sets and brushes. Hardware, pet and stationery brands do the same for small parts, chew toys and pens. What links them is a light item, a retailer with hooks rather than shelves, and a product that sells better when it's seen than when it's stacked out of sight.
One Hanger Structure Across a Growing Range
The minimum is 100, low enough to test one product on a retailer's hook before ranging a whole line. Production takes 8–12 business days from proof approval, with rush at an extra cost quoted before you order.
Every order passes a three-stage check, and that covers the tab: an off-center hang hole or a tab that tears is caught before dispatch, not on a store wall. If the delivered run doesn't match the proof you signed off, we reprint it at our cost. Design help on the window and tab layout is free and unlimited, and shipping is included in your price.

How does a five panel hanger display product?
The five panels fold to hold product facing forward while a hanging tab takes the weight. That keeps artwork visible on a peg rather than edge-on, which is where flat packaging loses attention.
Can five panel hangers have a window?
Yes, and most do. A window lets the product show while the printed panels carry branding around it, which is the combination that sells on a peg.
Are five panel hangers cost-effective?
At retail volumes, yes. They use relatively little board for the display area they generate, and the hanging format earns shelf space that flat packaging doesn't get.
What's the lead time on five panel hangers?
About 8–12 business days once the proof is approved, hanging tab and window included. Rush production is available at an extra cost quoted first.
Can five panel hangers be ordered per product?
Yes, and most brands do. Keeping one hanger structure while changing the printed panel per product keeps tooling costs down as a range expands.
