Eyelash Boxes
Eyelash boxes are built around a flat tray, because lashes compressed in transit lose their curl. The tray supports the band without pressing on the hairs, and most brands add a window so customers can judge the style before buying. A magnetic closure suits premium lashes kept in the original box between wears. Design help is unlimited and free at every order quantity.

Eyelash Boxes With a Flat Tray and a Window
False lashes are one of the few beauty products customers reuse: a good strip lash is worn several times, cleaned and put back. That makes the box a storage case as well as packaging. An eyelash box is a shallow box holding one or more pairs on a flat tray, usually with a window and either a tuck or magnetic closure. Buyers are lash brands, many of which started online, lash technicians and studios selling retail pairs after an appointment, and makeup brands adding lashes to a line. Most carry several styles, from natural to dramatic, and need packaging that lets a shopper tell them apart at a glance without opening anything.
Eyelash Box Specs: Tray, Window and Closure
Folding lash boxes are made from printed board stock; rigid magnetic cases use paper-wrapped grayboard.
| Spec | Folding | Rigid |
|---|---|---|
| Board | SBS, 14–18pt | Grayboard, 2–3mm, wrapped |
| Tray | Flat card tray | Flat card or foam tray |
| Window | Optional, film-backed | Optional, film-backed |
| Closure | Tuck | Magnetic flap |
| Lead time | 8–12 business days | 20 business days |
Tray depth is set by the lash band and the length of the longest hairs, with about ±0.5–1mm tolerance on the cavity. Multi-pair boxes lay the pairs side by side on a wider tray rather than stacking them, so no pair carries the weight of another.
Why Lash Brands Choose a Magnetic Closure
For lashes priced as a reusable product, many brands pick a magnetic flap closure because it turns the box into the case the customer keeps them in. The flap folds over and holds shut on its own, with nothing to tuck in and no separate lid to misplace, so the lashes go back on their tray after each wear. It also signals price: a rigid case with a magnetic flap tells a shopper the pairs inside are meant to last. Not every lash needs it. Single-use or multipack strip lashes sold cheaply do well in a folding tuck box with a window, at a fraction of the cost. Most brands with more than one price tier end up using both.
Print and Window Choices on Eyelash Packaging
Most lash boxes carry very little text on the front: the brand, a style name and perhaps a length. That leaves room for strong graphics. Full-color CMYK and Pantone colors print on both folding boxes and rigid wraps, and foil is a popular choice for the style name. Soft-touch lamination is common on rigid cases, paired with anti-scuff film on dark colors. Windows can be cut to whatever shape the artwork calls for, from a plain rectangle to an eye outline, backed with clear film. Plan the tray color alongside the window: a black tray shows light or colored lashes clearly, while a white or nude tray suits dark ones.
Ordering Eyelash Boxes in Folding or Rigid
Choose the build first, since it sets the timeline. Folding lash boxes are ready 8–12 business days after you approve the proof; rigid magnetic cases take 20 business days. Rush is available on either at an extra cost we quote before you commit. Send a sample pair, or the band length and longest hair length, and we'll draw the tray, confirm sizes in writing, and proof the window position against your artwork. There's no charge for design help, however many rounds it takes. The minimum is 100 boxes. Shipping is included, and three separate checks happen before anything leaves. If bulk doesn't match the approved proof, we replace the run free of charge.

What brands say about this box
They live there rather than here, where we can't edit them, delete them, or pick which ones you get to see. That is exactly what makes them worth reading.
Read all reviews on Trustpilot(opens in a new tab)Answers before you have to ask.
Will lashes keep their shape in the box?
They will in a tray. Lashes are delicate and lose their curl if compressed, so the box needs a flat tray that supports the band without pressing on the hairs. Most lash brands pair that with a window so the shape is visible.
Can lash boxes have a magnetic closure?
Yes, and it's popular for premium lashes. A magnetic closure lets the box be opened and closed repeatedly without wearing out, which matters when customers store lashes in the original packaging between uses.
Do lash boxes need a window?
Not necessarily, but most brands choose one. Customers want to see the lash style and curl before buying, and a window does that better than any printed image. It adds a small cost and usually pays for itself in conversion.
What's the lead time on eyelash boxes?
About 8–12 business days once the proof is approved, including trays and window cuts. Rush production is available at an added cost. Shipping is included on every order you place.
Can lash boxes be ordered in small batches?
Yes, from 100 boxes. Lash brands often run several styles, and keeping one box structure across them while changing the printed panel is the economical way to build a range.
