Printed Cookie Boxes
Printed cookie boxes carry full-color artwork across every panel, inside faces included, which is what separates them from a box carrying just a logo. The interior shows as the lid lifts, exactly when attention peaks on a gift purchase. Full coverage costs less than most expect at volume, since setup is shared. Several seasonal designs can share one box structure and setup.

Printed Cookie Boxes Where the Artwork Does the Selling
Some cookie brands sell the box as much as the bake. Illustrated gift ranges, character-led children's sets and seasonal editions all depend on artwork that covers the box completely, and a logo on plain board would look unfinished next to them. That's the buyer here: brands with a designer, a visual identity and a reason for the box to be photographed, shared or kept. Printed cookie boxes also suit cookies sold sealed, where the customer can't see the product and the outer has to make the case on its own. For everyday packaging where a name is enough, a lighter print run makes better sense.

Full coverage needs smooth white stock that takes full color without the base tone shifting it. Artwork is set on the dieline with bleed past each fold, so color runs to the edge of every panel with no white line at the corners or along the glue flap. Inside-face artwork is set on the same dieline, so it lines up with the outer panels.
Full Coverage Over a Single Mark: When It Pays
Full coverage earns its cost when the box is part of the product. Gift cookies, collectible seasonal designs and children's sets all sell partly on what the box looks like, and a plain base with a logo would undersell them. It also pays when the cookies are hidden, since the outer is the only thing doing the persuading. Where it doesn't pay is a box thrown away within the hour, such as a counter half-dozen. The standard structure is a fully wrapped tuck-end carton, which gives the artwork six uninterrupted panels and ships flat. A lidded build suits a gift set where the lid art is the focal point.
Inside Faces, Finishes and a Warm-Bake Caution
Printing the inside faces turns the moment of opening into part of the design: a pattern, a note or a short brand story under the lid. It's the detail most likely to get photographed and posted. A matte or gloss coat and foil can sit on top of full-color print, but each one adds cost, so choose a finish that does a job, such as foil on the brand name, rather than layering several. One caution applies whatever the artwork: don't laminate a box that will hold cookies packed warm. Trapped moisture softens the board from inside and leaves the cookies soft too. Let them cool fully, or leave the lamination off.
Printed Cookie Boxes for Gift Ranges and Kids' Parties
Gift cookie brands are the largest group, changing artwork for Christmas, Easter, Mother's Day and Halloween. Children's party bakers order printed boxes as take-home gifts, themed to the party. Cookie decorating kits, with plain cookies, icing and sprinkles inside, rely entirely on box artwork because the contents aren't the finished product. Retailers who stock toy-shop and party ranges carry printed cookie kits next to craft sets and games. Corporate clients order printed boxes in their own branding for events and product launches, where the box carries the message and the cookies are the reason to open it.
Plates, Proofs and No Line Items Added Later
Full-color work involves more setup than a one-color logo, and some suppliers bill that separately once the order is placed. We don't. Dies, plates and setup are part of the quote, and nothing is added afterward. Design help is unlimited and free, so if your artwork needs adjusting to fit the dieline, or a fold runs through a key detail, we handle it before you see the proof. From a 100-box minimum, the run is finished 8–12 business days after approval. If the date is tight, rush is possible for an added fee you see upfront. Every box is inspected three times before it leaves, and delivery costs nothing extra.

What brands say about this box
They live there rather than here, where we can't edit them, delete them, or pick which ones you get to see. That is exactly what makes them worth reading.
Read all reviews on Trustpilot(opens in a new tab)Answers before you have to ask.
How much of the box can be printed?
All of it, including the inside faces. Full-coverage printing across every panel is what separates a printed box from one carrying just a logo, and it's where seasonal and gift ranges get their impact.
Can printed boxes include the inside faces?
Yes, and it's worth doing. The interior shows as the lid lifts, which is when attention is highest. On gift boxes especially, an unprinted inside feels like an unfinished job.
Does full-coverage printing cost much more?
Less than people expect at volume, since setup is shared across the run. The bigger jump is usually adding finishes rather than colors. We'll quote one, two and full color so you can compare.
What's the turnaround on printed cookie boxes?
Around 8–12 business days from proof approval, full coverage included. Rush production is available at a quoted premium, with shipping included in what you pay.
Can I run several printed designs at once?
Yes, and it's cheaper than separate orders since setup is shared. Seasonal ranges are the most common reason, and one box structure with several printed panels costs far less.
