Kraft Candy Boxes
Kraft candy boxes suit artisan, natural and handmade confectionery, where unbleached board makes the packaging read honest. For bright, playful or children's candy, kraft mutes the colors the category depends on, and we'd say so. Two colors on kraft give contrast without full-color cost. The 100-box minimum suits small-batch confectioners testing a new seasonal or limited line.

Kraft Candy Boxes for Sweets That Are Already Brown
Toffee, fudge, peanut brittle, caramels and chocolate-dipped nuts share a palette with kraft board, and that is the main reason this box works. The candy and the carton sit in the same warm range, so nothing on the shelf looks washed out or mismatched. Buyers are usually small-batch confectioners: a fudge kitchen selling by the slab, a market stall with six flavors of brittle, a farm store packing its own honeycomb. They tend to sell on the idea that the sweets were made by hand and close by, and the box has to agree with that without saying it in large letters. Bright gummies and rainbow lollipops are a different job, and a coated white carton suits them better.
Kraft Candy Box Stock, Inks and Insert Options
The board is uncoated kraft confectionery board, left unbleached, so its brown is the fiber itself rather than a printed color.
| Attribute | Kraft candy box |
|---|---|
| Stock | Unbleached kraft, uncoated face |
| Caliper | 16–24pt, matched to box size and fill |
| Inks | Food-safe, one or two colors |
| Tolerance | Around ±0.5–1mm, so inserts seat level |
| Inserts | Dividers or a fitted tray, cut to your pieces |
| Size | Built from your product's dimensions |
Heavier slabs of fudge sit at the top of the caliper range, while a few wrapped caramels sit comfortably at the bottom. Buttery candy is best wrapped before it goes in, as uncoated board can take an oil mark.
Why Unbleached Board Suits Hand-Cut Confectionery
Coated white board asks to be filled with ink. Kraft does the opposite: it looks finished with almost nothing on it, which suits a maker who doesn't want the box to outshout the candy. Kraft candy boxes are commonly made as a tuck-closing kraft carton, which ships flat, folds up at the bench and closes without tape or glue. That matters on the evening before a weekend market, when boxes get folded by the dozen. The trade-off is color. Anything that needs a precise red or a bright pink will print darker and duller on brown board, so if your brand rides on one specific shade, kraft is the wrong place to save money.
What One or Two Ink Colors Do on Brown Board
Ink on kraft soaks into the fiber instead of sitting on a coated face, so artwork behaves differently than on white board. Dark inks such as black, deep green, navy and oxblood hold their edge and read cleanly against brown. Pale inks sink into the board and lose most of their contrast, so a soft pink or light gray logo can almost vanish. Fine type softens slightly as the ink spreads, which means hairline rules and small ingredient text should be set a size larger than on coated stock. A flavor name, a logo and a short ingredient panel are usually all a kraft candy box needs. Full-color photography is the one thing to avoid here, since it prints muddy and costs more for a worse result.
Kraft Candy Boxes for Fudge Shops, Market Stalls and Farm Stores
A fudge shop selling slabs by weight is the classic buyer, often with a divider between flavors so the cut edges don't stick together. Market traders pack brittle, honeycomb and toffee in them, where the box has to look right next to jars and loaves on a trestle table. Farm stores and delis selling their own preserves add a kraft candy box for seasonal sweets so the whole shelf matches. Wedding and event planners ask for small kraft boxes holding two or three pieces as favors. The format also overlaps with bake shops that also sell fudge, where a counter of brownies and cookies picks up a candy line on the side and the packaging needs to sit with what's already there.
Keeping a Kraft Candy Line Cheap to Reorder
A kraft candy box printed in one or two inks is one of the simplest jobs we run, and repeat runs of the same artwork are just as simple to quote. Keep one box size across your flavors and change only the printed flavor name, and the range stays easy to reorder as it grows. Most orders are ready 8–12 business days after you approve the proof. If a holiday market lands sooner than that, rush is possible at an extra cost, quoted before you commit. If the bulk run doesn't match the proof you signed off, we reprint it at our cost, and every box goes through a three-stage check before it ships. Shipping is in the price, so the figure on the quote is the figure you pay.

What brands say about this box
They live there rather than here, where we can't edit them, delete them, or pick which ones you get to see. That is exactly what makes them worth reading.
Read all reviews on Trustpilot(opens in a new tab)Answers before you have to ask.
Does kraft suit every kind of confectionery?
Most of it, though not all. Kraft suits artisan, natural and handmade confectionery where the packaging should read honest. For bright, playful or children's candy it mutes the color the category depends on.
Can kraft candy boxes take a second color?
Yes, and two colors on kraft is a strong combination. It gives contrast without full CMYK cost, and it reads as deliberate on natural board rather than as a compromise forced by budget.
Is kraft cheaper than coated board for candy?
Usually slightly, since coated board is bleached and treated. The gap narrows at volume. For candy the bigger consideration is color — if your brand depends on bright shades, kraft costs you in appearance.
How long do kraft candy boxes take?
Most orders are ready in about 8–12 business days once you approve the proof. Rush production is available at an extra cost, quoted upfront, with shipping included in the price.
What's the minimum order for kraft candy boxes?
100 boxes. That suits small-batch confectioners testing a line without committing to volume, and design help is unlimited and free whatever quantity you order.
