CBD Oil Boxes
CBD oil boxes have two jobs: hold a glass dropper bottle still, and leave room for everything your label has to carry. We cut the cavity to your bottle and reserve flat panel space for warnings, potency and a batch QR code during layout, positioned where it scans reliably. Confirming which wording your state requires is your responsibility; building the space for it is ours.
Ours are on Trustpilot, where we can't edit them or choose which ones you see.

CBD Oil Boxes Where the Carton Carries the Label
A dropper bottle's label has room for a brand name, a strength and little else. Warnings, potency, batch details and a scannable code all end up on the carton. That makes the carton the place where shoppers and store buyers actually read the product: a reading surface first, a holder second.
These boxes suit brands selling oils through stores, pharmacies and their own websites, where the same small bottle sits on a shelf beside a dozen competitors. We plan the panels around your copy before any branding goes down, then fit the bottle so it stays upright and centered behind them. If a strength, a warning or the batch format changes later, the panel plan has room to absorb it without a redesign.
CBD Oil Box Specs: Insert, Board and Panel Space
Most CBD oil boxes are folding cartons in SBS carton stock, with a fitted insert doing the work of holding the bottle still.
| Spec | Detail |
|---|---|
| Build | Folding carton as standard; rigid for premium lines |
| Board | 16–24pt coated board |
| Insert | Cavity cut to your bottle's diameter and height |
| Fit tolerance | ±0.5–1mm, so the bottle and any closure seat properly |
| Panels | Flat space reserved for warnings, potency and a batch QR code |
| Closure | Child-resistant option, built in from the start |
We draw the dieline from your bottle measurements and confirm in writing whether those sizes are internal or external. A few millimeters either way decides whether the insert grips the bottle or lets it rattle.
Why a Tuck Carton With an Insert Holds a Dropper Bottle
A dropper bottle is tall, narrow and glass, and the box has two jobs with it: keep it from moving, and give the label copy flat ground to sit on. A tuck carton with a fitted insert does both. The insert is cut to the bottle's diameter and height, so the dropper cap isn't knocking against the top panel every time the box is handled.
The carton walls stay flat on every face. That matters, because a QR code printed across a curve or a crease often won't scan. Curved styles such as pillow boxes look softer on a shelf but bend the copy, and open sleeves leave the bottle exposed at both ends. For an oil, flat panels and a fixed bottle beat a softer shape.
Printing a CBD Oil Box Without Burying the Warnings
Coated board takes full-color print cleanly, so brand colors and small type all hold sharp edges. The rule on this box is placement.
Foil, spot UV and embossing belong on the brand panel, usually the front, where a small logo mark carries more weight than a large one. The panels holding warnings, potency and the batch code stay matte and high-contrast, because gloss and metallics flare under store lighting and turn small type into glare. A matte base across the whole carton is a sensible default: it photographs well and keeps the QR area readable.
The one thing we won't do is run a finish across required copy, however small the effect. If a design calls for it, we'll flag it at proof.
CBD Oil Boxes for Multi-Strength Ranges and Retail Shelves
The typical buyer sells one bottle in several strengths. One dieline and one insert cover the whole range while the printed panels change, which keeps the cartons uniform on a shelf and lets a store buyer read the line from left to right.
Other common uses follow from the same bottle. Pharmacies and wellness stores need cartons that sit square in a planned shelf layout. Online orders rely on the insert to keep glass intact inside a mailer. Paired sets with a balm or capsules add a second cavity to the same build. Brands that also make e-liquids will recognize the bottle-fit problem from e-liquid bottle packaging. When a range moves into a gift tier, the panel plan carries over to a rigid build unchanged.
From Bottle Size to Delivered CBD Oil Boxes
Send us a bottle, or its diameter and height, along with the label copy the carton needs to carry. We build the dieline and insert from that, then send a proof showing exactly where each panel's copy sits, so you can check it against your state's requirements before anything prints.
Once you approve the proof, folding cartons take 8–12 business days and rigid builds take 20 business days. If you need them sooner, rush is available at an extra cost we quote upfront. Every box goes through a three-stage check during production, so a shifted panel or an insert cut off-size is caught by us rather than found when you open the shipment. Shipping is included in the price, so the quote is the full cost to your door.

What brands say about this box
They live there rather than here, where we can't edit them, delete them, or pick which ones you get to see. That is exactly what makes them worth reading.

Will the box hold a dropper bottle without it moving?
It will with a fitted insert. Glass dropper bottles break in transit because they move rather than because they're dropped, so we cut the cavity to your bottle's actual diameter and height. Send us a sample or measurements and we'll build around it.
Is there room for a batch QR code?
Yes, and we plan for it at layout stage rather than squeezing it in later. Several states require a scannable code linking to batch lab results, so we leave dedicated flat space where it will scan reliably under store lighting.
Should CBD oil boxes be rigid or folding?
Folding handles most retail oils comfortably and costs considerably less. Rigid earns its cost on premium and high-strength lines where the box is expected to feel substantial. Rigid takes 20 business days rather than 8–12.
How long do CBD oil boxes take to produce?
Folding builds run about 8–12 business days from proof approval. Rigid takes 20 business days, since the board is cut, wrapped and assembled rather than shipped flat. Rush is available on both, priced upfront.
What's the minimum order for CBD oil boxes?
100 boxes, which is low enough to launch a single strength or test a design before scaling. The same minimum applies with or without a child-resistant closure, and design help is unlimited and free.
